WurlD Speaks Up As Nigerian Air Force Officer Is Detained For Dancing to His Song On Social Media

A certain officer in the Nigerian Air Force has reportedly been detained for putting a video of himself dancing in his full military regalia.

The embattled NAF officer was dancing the to WurlD’s hit track ‘Mad’ which the video went viral some days ago. Following the widespread of the video, the officer has been detained on the orders of higher NAF authority.

The current predicament of the NAF officer was brought to WurlD’s attention. The Afrosoul singer took to his social media page to lean a voice to get him freed.

He wrote “hope it’s not true that this awesome guy got detained for posting this video of himself on duty. This elevated my mood and I hope we can help get him out if the information is true”.

The incident is eerily similar to that of the Nigeria Immigration Service were some female officers were handed punitive transfers for partaking in Bop Daddy challenge. The transfer was suspended after social media outrage and a letter from Falz to the Comptroller-General of the NIS.
