Will Omah Lay’s “Boy Alone” Album Be Better Than Rema’s “Rave & Roses”?
Omah Lay’s long-awaited debut album, “Boy Alone” is set to drop this month.
This will put an end to a two-year wait during which we got two EP’s from the youngster and countless hits. It’s safe to say Omah Lay is a golden boy.
With the talent he has, it’s not hard to see why a lot of people like the guy and his music. He has a unique sound that other new school artists are even copying already. That, plus, he’s just a real PH boy and knows what he’s doing.
After releasing two solid projects and winning the Next Rated award though, there’s a lot more pressure on him to do more. Of course, he’s tried to take it up a notch by doing a collaboration with Justin Bieber (“Attention”) but all eyes are still on him for the album.
If the album’s a success, then Omah Lay could go up the ranks to join the likes of Rema, Fireboy DML and Joeboy. He’s already close, though.
Another youngster who recently just released an album is Rema, who came up with “Rave & Roses” not quite long ago. Also his debut, “Rave & Roses” has been quite the success and if Omah Lay could pull a better debut than that, it’ll mean he’s probably a better artist than Rema.
The Omah Lay vs Rema debate is two years old already. So maybe this is the time we’ll finally see who’s the best betweent the two guys. Maybe.
Omah Lay has already released a single from the album called “Woman” and it’s a bop too, so we’ll just have to wait and see. But what do y’all think?
